Luke Simon Photography is already established as one of Adelaide’s premier wedding and commercial photography studio’s and approached Avenue De Saxe looking to achieve growth through an increased online presence. Prior to commencing the project, Luke discussed the existing setup, which consisted of a small, flash-based site that was relatively static in terms of content and a little tedious to update. In conjunction with that Luke was also using a wordpress hosted blog, which allowed him to engage his customers.
Avenue De Saxe worked through the existing setup and with Luke’s direction, formulated a plan to build a brand new ‘wedding’ specific site that incorporated a self-hosted wordpress installation. This gave Luke the complete solution for both easy-editing on content as well as the same blog functionality. The design and layout was based on existing branding, and was kept clean and simple to allow the stunning photography to be front and centre. Also incorporated is link’s to social media as well as a self-hosted client login portal, whereby clients can review, select and order photo’s to be delivered to their door.
Since going live, the new site has seen huge growth in the number of weekly visitors and has proven to be a fantastic and engaging marketing tool.
